Nature Walk at River Park led by Friends’ Conservation Programs Specialist Claire Snyder
Join Friends of the Chicago River for an evening walk along the Chicago River. We’ll meet up at the River Park dock and follow the nature trail along the North Branch of the Chicago River. Keep your eyes open, as this section of the river is often frequented by birds, turtles, and even muskrats and beavers! In addition to Chicago River wildlife, we’ll have the opportunity to chat about Chicago River history, hydrology and current river issues like flooding and water quality. At the end, we'll discuss ideas for the future of the Chicago River.
