~ Appreciating the friends who are reviving the river system ~

Please join us to celebrate the many members, volunteers and partners who've done amazing work together to improve and protect the Chicago-Calumet River system this year.

We are excited to host this happy hour celebration in a new location, at the Chicago Maritime Museum on the South Branch of the Chicago River. The museum is an amazing community resource which highlights the importance of waterways to our region. We will recognize some outstanding Friends by presenting our annual awards for the River Champion who's gone above and beyond in their work, the Spirit of the River whose efforts, character, and enthusiasm most embody the spirit of the river, and the Volunteer of the Year Award. We will host a Question and Answer session too, so bring your questions on anything from turtle habitat, to paddling, to policy. Food and drinks are on the house. Join Friends staff to meet, mingle, and share stories with other members, volunteers and board members about our river connections.

Attendance is open to members and volunteers. Registration is required. We hope you'll join us in celebrating the past season, cheering on the award winners, and getting excited for spring!
