We are looking for volunteers to help plant aquatic plants along the river's edge. This is a unique opportunity to put on waders, head out in canoes and get your hands dirty making an immediate positive impact on water quality, biodiversity, wildlife habitat, and climate change resiliency. Lunch will be provided, please email organizer with any dietary restrictions.

Friends’ trusty canoe guides will help everyone safely load in and out of the canoes, answer questions about the river along the way and act as safety monitors on the water. We provide all equipment, paddling instruction, and safety talk. Trips start and end from the same location, rain or shine! Space is limited, registration required. Beginners are welcome, no experience paddling necessary! We recommend volunteers are at least 13 years old and all minors paddle with a guardian.
