Photobomb Celebrates Our Great River

What's a little chill when it's time to celebrate our great Chicago River system? More than 100 people showed up for our annual Photobomb event on the Chicago Riverwalk on a sunny but chilly Friday, April 27, 2018.

Thanks to all who participated, including commissioners and staff from the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, Chicago Water Taxi, Island Party Hut and Grill, Wateriders Kayak Tours and Rentals, the East Bank Club and the City of Chicago Riverwalk.

The event acknowledges the improvements in water quality of the Chicago River and tries to bring greater awareness of Overflow Action Days before, during and after heavy rainstorms.

Thanks also to ABC7, the Sun-Times and Chicago Parent for their coverage of this great event, held at the River Theater between Clark and LaSalle streets. Join us next year!
