Special Target Giving Program Benefits Friends
Friends of the Chicago River has been chosen to participate in a special charitable giving campaign, sponsored and funded by Target, which directs a portion of Target’s charitable giving to Friends.
Now through December 31, vote for Friends of the Chicago River through the Target Circle loyalty program to help determine how Target’s donation will be directed among five Chicago area non-profits, including Friends.
How voting works
Register for the Target Circle program here.
- Earning votes in-store: At check out, give your phone number or scan your Target Circle barcode by tapping “Redeem saved offers” or in the wallet in the Target app. You can also enter receipt numbers within seven days to collect earnings from eligible in-store purchases.
- Earning votes online: Sign into your Target account at Target.com or in the Target app.
- Casting votes: Open target.com/circle and go to Community Support or open the Target app and go to My Target, Circle Benefits, Available Earnings and Vote for Nonprofits where you can select Friends of the Chicago River.
As you shop and earn more votes, you can vote multiple times during the campaign. Information about our participation in the Target Circle campaign is also available of Friends’ Facebook and Instagram pages too.
Every vote counts to help us receive a portion of the available Target funds to help us improve and protect the Chicago River system for people, plants, animals.
