Friends Welcomes Two New Board Members

Friends of the Chicago River is pleased to welcome Cameron Brenson, client partner at Adobe, and Aditi Chakravorty, executive director at JP Morgan Chase to Friends’ Board of Directors.

At Adobe, Brenson partners with brands and advertising agencies to assist with their advertising and marketing strategy. He is an alum of Wake Forest University.

"I am passionate about Chicago, its people, and its environment,” said Brenson. “I am particularly excited for the opportunity to use my marketing expertise to help grow the public’s knowledge and perception of the river as a vital natural resource to be respected and protected.”

An alum of Delhi University, Chakravorty received her MBA in from the University of Kansas, Graduate School of Business. At JP Morgan Chase Aditi leads small and medium-sized business partnership sales for the payment solutions division. She has over 20 years of financial services and technology experience managing digital transformation programs and client relationships.

"I am committed to community and environmental health,” said Chakravorty. “I am impressed with how Friends works to help wildlife thrive and to create opportunities for people to use and enjoy the river as a blue-green corridor of connected natural open space. I hope to support Friends’ commitment to establishing equity, building resiliency, protecting biodiversity, and promoting connectivity throughout the Chicago-Calumet River system.”
