With the 2023-24 school year underway, the Chicago River Schools Network is off to a swift start. Less than a month into the school year the CRSN completed or scheduled 50% more programs than all of the last school year.

The river system is essential to improving public health supporting wildlife and plant biodiversity, and building climate resiliency for the region.

Among their unheralded attributes, beavers help forestall the climate crisis, slow flooding, and restore wetlands.
